Lexus challenged us to demonstrate their commitment to masterfully crafted vehicles by creating a dining experience that lived in parallel to their core engineering truths. For the Takumi Keiken, we collaborated with local Quebec artisans to build an environment that emulated the Takumi craft β the legendary mastery that guides Lexusβs design and engineering.
My role focused on the spatial translation of these values, ensuring the venue felt like a deliberate extension of the brand rather than just a dining hall. To avoid the blank canvas of a large event space, we prioritized visual density and intentionality in every corner of the room. By choreographing a frictionless guest journey, the final layout functioned as a physical expression of Omotenashi hospitality β where the architecture of the space anticipated guest needs and ensured a comfortable, intuitive flow from the first interaction to the final course.
